MISSION & VISION

Our vision is to educate as many people of who God is and what he did for each and everyone of us. One of the ways we are doing this is by buying bibles in one of the native languages of Gambia which is Mandinka. This last trip, we were a part of a 3-night crusade. On the first night, 11 people accepted Jesus as their savior. While we were there, we had the chance to give 1 bible to each person so they could learn more about Christ. So we continue with our vision to educate every person.

My family and I started AMEGA Mission when I went to Gambia in 2013 for the first time. When I came back, I knew I had to do something to help the Gambian people. I have a friend, Paul Mendy, who is a Missionary in Gambia and lives there with his family, teaching and preaching God’s word. I would like to thank God for letting me spend those couple of weeks with them, learning about them, their culture and the way they live. One day, I will go back to Gambia because Gambia needs our help. Explore our website and see so far what we have been doing for the kingdom of God!

“In late November of 2018 I had an opportunity to join Pastor Paulo of AMEGA Mission along with a team consisting of 2 other people, on a trip to Gambia, to witness first hand what God is doing in that country. After being there, I can say this; that the hand of God is upon Gambia. He has opened the door for the gospel of his son Jesus Christ. In a country whose population is over 90 percent Islam, we preached The Gospel with no one stopping us. This is the hand of God letting the gospel be heard in Gambia. While we were there, we witnessed many good works being done by the Pastors, brothers and sisters. We witnessed a crusade in a remote village with the villagers young and old receiving Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and also being healed physically and spiritually. In another part of Gambia, we witnessed schools being provided for kids and skills training in computers as well as sewing for the young adults and older people, Churches being planted, food being distributed, homes being shared with new believers who were disowned by their own family because of believing in Jesus Christ. As we left the country, the work there continues. We have been receiving reports and testimonies of what God is still doing there. So I say to you as a brother in Christ Jesus, the brethen in Gambia need our support to carry on the work and mission that God has given us all to do. Whether you provide support financially, spiritually through prayer or join Pastor Paulo on a trip to Gambia to fellowship with the brethen there or however God may lead you, your support will greatly affect the people of Gambia. Do become a supporter! God Bless you as you keep God's work first and may he always guide you.”
